Eight years of Obama’s presidency have succeeded in dividing the American public. American Jews, perhaps more than any other ethnic/religious group, have had a number their most cherished beliefs shaken as a result of an administration they helped elect pandering to Islamist, anti-Israel interests. Despite all of Obama’s shortcomings, American Jews will once again vote Democrat in ’16. As a free, self-thinking Jew, I refuse to follow the sheeple.
The above quote was said by a fictional character, but these are the very words that must be proclaimed from the mouth of the President of the US or one…
It simply don’t get no mo’ weirder than this. Call it what you want: “crazy,” “masochistic,” “suicidal,” “policy of denial,” one thing is clear: we’re headed in one direction and that direction is directly backwards.
I met Ryan Mervin on Israel and Stuff, a pro-Israel Facebook page. He’s always come across as an extremely positive, well-meaning guy with a lot to say. I recently saw a post about Ryan’s attempts to sway Canadian Native Americans to side more with Israel instead of giving in to pressure by Arab advocacy demonizing our country. I felt he did a very good job of “explaining” Israel–perhaps a better job than I could have done.
Over the past years, Russian-speaking Jews living in the US, Canada, Germany, and other countries have become exceedingly visible in pro-Israel events and demonstrations. Next week is the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, which will be celebrated by millions around the world. The second of the two Eid’s, (the first is “Eid al-Fitr which…
I met Mohammad, a 15 year-old teenager living in Nazareth Ilite through our mutual friend; yet another Arab pro-Israel activist, Anett Haskia. Mohammad struck me as a young intellectual; someone with the knowledge and understanding that so many people twice and three times his age are lacking.
It certainly looks like while I’ve been away visiting my parents, grandparents, and friends in Chicago, your typical, run-o-the-yard Mil’ East tyrant unleashed a chemical attack on those pesky rebels that just keep on coming back no matter how many virgins up above Hezbollah has amassed under its TNT-packed belt. What I’m actually trying to say is that it’s time, oh yes, it’s time…for yet another Havel Havelim Blog Carnival and this one isn’t to be missed!
The man had apparently been in some far-off part of the world–Morocco, I guessed, when two young Arabs approached him and told him to follow them. He realized they were armed and wanted to kill him.
