Clueless American Jews Support Iran Deal; Don’t Know what “Iran” is

of American Jews do care, however, about their bank account, the mortgage on their house, their dog, the latest Kardashian news and a healthy doze of McDonald’s. This is why they’re “American Jews.” They skipped the memo on Israel being the “Jewish State;” the country we, as a people, have been dreaming of returning to en-masse for two millennia. Perhaps they just don’t care.

There is, of course, the religious community in America. These are the ones perhaps most at fault with the situation at hand. While they realize their loyalty belongs squarely with Israel, these hard-necked people refuse to make Aliya. They know as well as anyone that Israel is where they ought to live and that living in Israel is one of the key commandments prescribed by the Torah, yet they will forever continue their childish chant, “One day…when Moshiach comes…” Some might give money to Israel. THIS IS NOT ENOUGH. Living in Israel and giving a few hundred bucks to your favorite Israel fund are far from one and the same. Why? Do your own research.

But I digress. We were discussing a deal meant to resuscitate Iran’s economy, allowing it to continue arming Hamas, Hezbollah, Assad and a conglomerate of terrorist organizations worldwide. And no, the American Jewish community doesn’t care–nor is there a feasible reason for it to actually lose sleep over anything that might effect their lives and the lives of millions if not billions of people. No, this isn’t the type of animal that yearns to survive. American Jews enjoy a comfortable lifestyle in suburban America, far from the lights and action of the Middle East. They simply don’t “get” the fact that this deal will move the Ayatollahs one step closer to bombing the daylights out of their local girl scout chapter.

Obama doesn’t care about Israel–or America either. Obama cares about playing a solid round of golf, looking good while receiving another award for bringing peace and love to the world, and, in general, being the best thing to happen to humankind since sliced cheese. This is a guy so full of himself, he’d be a heck of a lot better off playing himself in a reality show than in the capacity of leader of the free world.

Just to get some perspective on Obama and the Iran Deal, this is the same guy who helped spearhead the Arab Spring of ’11-’13 that led to the ousters of Hosni Mubarak and Muammar Gaddafi in Egypt and Lybia respectively, creating power vacuums in both nations and directly leading to the Muslim Brotherhood’s takeover of Egypt and Islamist Qaeda/ISIS-inspired militants taking over Benghazi and Tripoli in Lybia. Upwards of 40,000 people have been killed in Lybia alone since the Obama administration began meddling in that country. Every Arab/North African state from Mauritania to Iraq has been affected by the Arab Spring. International estimates place the death toll in the Syrian Civil War at 377,000+ with an additional thousand or so fatalities daily and no end in sight to the four and a half year conflict. Millions have been displaced.

So what do American Jews have to say about Barack Hussein Obama, terrorist-sympathizer, and anti-Semite with whom Jimmy Carter pales in comparison? 69% of American Jews voted for Obama in 2008 when he was still a little-known enigma and it wasn’t at all clear how he would treat Jews or Israel….except that his middle name was “Hussein,” his life-long mentor was Reverend Wright and he was already known to have far left leanings that could not possibly bode well for Israel. Four years later, after Obama had wrought havoc on the delicate balance of power in the Middle East and American’s worst fears had come to fruition; after Obama had turned a cold shoulder to Netanyahu and Israel, placing blame for the failed peace talks squarely at Israel’s feet, 74% of American Jews–more than Hispanics (71%) and Asians (73%) voted for the walking, talking disaster-about-to-happen. Only African Americans beat out the Jewish community when it came to Obama.

American Jews (most American “Jews” aren’t actually “Jewish” by Jewish standards) are far, far removed from reality. They live in their own world of Kardashians and Big Macs. They don’t care about Israel, and no, we don’t care about them. Next time tells you “American Jews support the Iran Deal,” I suggest you take this with a grain of salt. American Jews don’t support themselves.
